Three Level Folks

There are three kinds of people in this period. I call them the First Level Folks the Second Level Folks and the Third Level Folks. You belong to one of these three.

The First Level Folks are the general masses. In the name of StayAtHome, they lose themselves to sleep, to food, and to social media. First thing they do when they wake up is pick their phones, and you know the rest. They live life the way it is now, and cross their fingers to see what happens tomorrow, and then adjust to it, whether good or bad.

The Second Level Folks are those who are doing something with their time, and enjoying the moment as well. Part of them are the WorkFromHome dudes. They keep busy trying to meet up with deadline. Anyways, work is more flexible, so they steal sometimes to stay updated with news and latest trend. They catch fun especially online. At least they are not just sitting and doing nothing.

The Third Level Folks are those whose minds are running 100km every minute towards one particular direction - meaning. They want to make sense out of everything that's going on. They wonder why all of these things are happening. They read about previous records of epidemics. They research on Black death (bobonic plaque), one of the deadliest pandemic the world ever experienced, which claimed the lives of over 200million people between 1347-1351. They read about how solution was finally gotten. Not because they are necessarily doctors. They just are not interested in joining the First Level and Second Level Folks in discussing problems without proper understanding of it, and without an attempt to discover possible solutions.

I read Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's My vision some years back and he talked about how during the Trade Centre bombing in the US in  2001 by Osama bin Laden, he took advantage of airports's bankruptcy as people were scared of flying at that time. He bought a good number of planes at ridiculous prices. His close  allies were asking why he was doing that even when there was no market for it. Few years later, they got their answer. Today, Dubai is still most people's tourist centre.

The Third Class Folks think on that direction. Through in depth research, study and prayer, they are able to understand the times and seasons, and they are able to figure out just what to do, when to do it and why. Their fear is not the pandemic; their fear is failing to think ahead of the pandemic.

For that reason, they are always making the best use of their time, knowing that for a very long time, there might never be another opportunity like this.

For some, it is time to strengthen every relationships in their lives, for some, it's a period to spend more time with family, understand their spouse, learn new things about their children and create memories with them. For some, it's time to restrategize their businesses.

For some, it's a time to start and finish writing their books. For some, it's time to add more knowledge by studying or taking online course.

But on thing is common among the Third Level folks: all of them are actively doing something that is keeping them one two or three step forward. They are not static. S
